Environmental Education
Environmental education creates the social context within which environmental and biodiversity conservation is possible and sustainable. It provides people with the capacity and skills to make informed decisions about their livelihoods, lifestyles and relationships with the environment. As our environmental awareness and actions increase, so shall our ecological footprint decrease.
Zephyr Tours offers environmental education tours, which are available for primary, to tertiary level education institutions, local NGO’s and individuals. Zephyr would like to invite all corporate sponsors to get involved by sponsoring an environmental education excursion for a local school or community development project. The tour content will range from general awareness creation to more in-depth research style tours. Tours are conducted by specialist nature or cultural guides, allow for high levels of involvement by students and contain fun and interesting games and activities such as scavenger hunts and species counts. Tours on offer range from Day Tours to Weekend Getaways. |
