The reserve is situated on a 3000ha game farm and comprises of over 26 different species of animals and a wide variety of birds. Wildlife at the reserve includes the rare black Impala, Rhino, Elephant, Lion, Buffalo, Giraffe, Mountain Zebra and Eland.
Day activities at Botlierskop include luxury 4x4 game drives and informative bush walks through diverse habitats as well as elephant back ride, picnic with the elephants, two hour horseback safaris and helicopter flips.
Each of the 19 luxury-tented suites at Botlierskop is elegantly decorated in a romantic colonial theme with 4-poster beds draped with mosquito nets. The en-suite bathrooms are lavishly equipped with deep baths and stunning views.
